Karnataka RERA registration number checker

Short answer. Paste a Karnataka RERA registration number. We split it into its parts, then look for that exact number in our records and show the status we hold and the date we checked. If it is not found, check the Karnataka RERA portal. This is not a safety check.

Paste a registration number

The placeholder is only the format, not a project we are recommending. Paste the full number as printed.

How it works

Format: the numbers we hold look like PRM/KA/RERA/1251/309/PR/110625/007817. The checker splits the text at the slashes and explains a part only where our own records support it.

Lookup: the number you paste is matched against our registrations as an exact id. We never search by project name, promoter or part of a number, because near matches can belong to a different phase.

Result: a match shows the status and dates as held in our dataset, the date we last checked, and the listing linked to that exact registration if there is one. No match means the number is not in our records, not that it is invalid.

We do not re-verify records on the official portal. Always confirm the status and completion date on the Karnataka RERA portal before you pay anything.

Common questions

Does a match mean the project is safe?
No. A match only means the number is in our dataset with the status we hold. It says nothing about construction quality, progress, price or the developer. Confirm the status on the Karnataka RERA portal.
What if my number is not found?
It means it is not in our records. Our data covers Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural registrations and may be behind the portal. Check the number on the Karnataka RERA portal.
Why do you match the exact number only?
A large project can have several registrations, one for each phase, with similar names. Matching by name could show the wrong phase, so we match the full number and nothing else.
What do the parts of the number mean?
We explain only what our own records show, such as the state and regulator abbreviations and the patterns we counted in the codes. Parts we have not documented are shown as printed and left uninterpreted.

Figures here are arithmetic or lookups over our own dataset and what you type. They are not legal, tax or lending advice, and not an offer. How we check our data.
