How we check our data

Short answer

FindYourNest reads registrations from the Karnataka RERA public dataset (4,756 registrations in our copy) and links a listing to a registration only when the exact project and phase match. Every other fact carries one of six FindYourNest data gap labels. Prices and availability are not verified.

  1. 1. Registrations

We use the Karnataka RERA public dataset (4,756 registrations in our copy). We have not re-verified each record on the official portal. Each registration page shows the date we last checked it.

  2. 2. Project listings

A listing is a project we researched. It is linked to a registration only when the exact project and phase match. Otherwise the listing is shown without a link, and the difference is stated.

  3. 3. Brochures

A brochure is shown only when its file prints that project's exact registration number, or when the developer's page confirms it. Other projects show “Request brochure”.

  4. 4. Prices and availability

We do not hold verified prices or inventory. A developer's stated price is shown as their claim, with the date we checked it.

  5. 5. Reviews and claims

We do not publish reviews we cannot source.

FindYourNest data gap labels

FindYourNest data gap labels are our own standard for saying what a fact rests on. The same six labels, with the same meaning, are used on project pages, list pages, comparison pages and the guides. A label describes our data, not the quality of a project.

Verified from RERA record
The value comes from a Karnataka RERA registration in the dataset we hold, matched to the project by exact registration number and phase. It was not re-checked on the live portal on the day you read it.What to do: Confirm it on the Karnataka RERA portal before you pay any money.
Developer states
The value is a claim made by the developer or in its sales material, such as a possession date, a configuration or an asking price. We show it with the date we checked it and have not verified it.What to do: Ask for the same figure in writing and compare it with the RERA record.
Not verified
We hold no checked source for this fact. Price per square foot and current availability are always in this group, because a RERA registration record does not carry them. What to do: Ask the developer for a cost sheet and current availability in writing.
Not provided
The field is empty in the source we use. It says something about our data and nothing about the project. What to do: Treat the gap as a question to ask, not as a finding about quality.
Shared brochure
A brochure is attached, but it is shared with other phases or registrations, so we cannot say it describes this exact phase. What to do: Ask which phase the brochure describes and which registration number covers your tower.
Phase not confirmed
Our source has not mapped the registration or the brochure to a specific sales phase, so phase-level details are provisional. What to do: Ask the developer for the registration number of the exact phase you are buying.

Still not verified

Prices, availability, phase-level details beyond the registration, and brochures for the 14 listed projects without one.
